WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It can be played on an indoor or outdoor court, with a modified tennis net, paddle and whiffle ball. The game can be played as singles (two players) or doubles (four players). It begins with an underhand serve diagonally across the court. Points can only be scored by the serving team. Pickleball has grown in popularity due to its simple rules, fun low-impact exercise, and is enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels. Looking to try pickleball in Corpus Christi? INDOOR PICKLEBALL COURTS IN CORPUS CHRISTI
Corpus Christi Athletic Club has recently built a state of the art Pickleball facility. Eight brand new pickleball courts are now available for pickleball fun. Do you want to check out pickleball before giving it a try? Spectators are welcome to watch from the upstairs viewing area. Pickleballballs & paddles can be borrowed from the Pro Shop free of charge.

OUTDOOR PICKLEBALL COURTS IN CORPUS CHRISTI
Corpus Christi Athletic Club has two outdoor tennis courts that are available for pickleball use. Pickleball balls & paddles can be borrowed from the Pro Shop free of charge.

Classes, Programs & Open Play
The Corpus Christi Athletic Club Pickleball Department offers classes and programs for both beginner and intermediate pickleball players. Our Intro to Pickleball Class is free for members and is the perfect way for those new to the sport to learn the basics in a small group environment. Intermediate Classes include teaching new skills, techniques, drilling and match play strategy.
Open plays are offered daily and are an excellent way to hone your on-court skills and meet fellow picklers.
JR Pickleball Class (Indoors)
Junior Pickleball is a fun, hour-long class that introduces your child to the basics of the game of pickleball and
will lead into match play. This class focuses on hand-eye coordination, familiarity with the paddle and the ball,
footwork and pickleball specific movement through a series of exercises, drills and games. Ages 8-13.
Open Play (Indoors)
Open Plays are organized sessions where players of all skill levels can participate freely and are offered daily.
We offer social, competitive, and challenge courts, so everyone from beginners to seasoned players can benefit from our Open Plays. Ages 13+
Blacklight Pickleball
Experience pickleball like never before! Our facility is equipped with permanent blacklights, allowing us to host glow-in-the-dark pickleball events with the flip of a switch. Perfect for a unique, high-energy game night with friends.
